Thus the sigh.
But these little gems can still be found scootin' along on the road. They haven't been sent off to die in museums just yet.
And thus the smile.

Apparently, we have the exact same taste in vehicles. I actually loathe cars and wish they weren't needed for modern life. Not owning a vehicle has been one of my favorite things about NYC. However, assuming I stay seizure free, when we move I'l be driving again and I'll be looking for a good oldie like these.
yes those old models are so, so much better. the jeep wagon is one of my all time faves.
*sigh*
i'm a stranger, and first-time looker on your blog, AND totally surprised that a post about CARS is what pulled me out of the woodwork, but i must echo exactly. i actually have a folder of car photos waiting to be posted! my faves: an old saab convertible (be still, my heart!) and an old topless bronco...
but for now (much to my husband's chagrine), i'm still clinging to my 1990 honda accord (nearly vintage)
thanks for such a cute blog!
An old Saab convertible was actually my first car. Where do you go from there? I am jealous of my 16 year old self ...
love your site and loveeee this post. We have two vintage 2002's (bmw) and we LOVE THEM...
